Business Information

Employees: 40
Note: This calculator provides indicative results. Actual impact may vary due to factors like workload prioritisation, business operations, network latency, and third-party dependencies.

How the calculation works:
- Hourly cost per employee = (Annual Salary + Overhead) ÷ 2080
- Revenue loss per hour = Annual Revenue ÷ 2080
- Total hourly cost = ((Salary + Overhead) × Employees + Revenue) ÷ 2080
- Recovery time = (Data in GB × 8000) ÷ (Mbps × 3600)
- Downtime cost = (Response Time + Recovery Time) × Total Hourly Cost
- Data loss tolerance = Work you're willing to redo × Total Hourly Cost

Why divide by 2080?
We assume a full-time employee works 40 hours/week for 52 weeks: 40 × 52 = 2080 hours/year.
